This new railroad was opened in 1995 and features 100% steam operation with QJ Class 2-10-2's. The setting here is very reminiscent of the American west and the trains, many of them double headed and all trailing cabooses, will give viewers all the all the excitement and drama of the World's last big stand for steam railroading.
Also included is the shop complex at Daban. You'll join railfan Ed Bowers on his private tour of China's steam strongholds at JenPing and at the ChengDe Steel Works where 2-8-2's of two different classes battle an impressive grade in daily assaults that require double heading and pushers pn most trains.
