034.3 STEAM & DIESEL ON THE NKP, VOLUME 3 1 hour 8 minutes

Featuring Wheeling & Lake Erie Berkshires and other steam on former W&LE lines in northern Ohio. Wit the added NKP steam plus the return of NKP 759 in 1968 and 1969. The W&LE Berkshires were built by Alco and followed the Van Swearingen design but had a unique look. None were saved so this tape offers a rare chance to view these great locomotives at work. Fimed by Donald J. Krofta in classic 16mm black and white with color accents. The 759 footage is all color. Actual sounds of the 800 and 700 series locomotives have been appropriately added.
